spring to summer. {what a bummer}

I don’t know how the weather is in your neck of the woods, but one thing we are famous for in Cincinnati is our one week of spring….the one week where we get lovely 70 degree weather, and no humidity.  It is just PERFECT out….and we all go nuts.  Everyone loves these few days we get, and the parks are all filled with people enjoying it while they can. This year, we actually got like 2-3 weeks of that goodness.  I KNOW, I was shocked too.  Last week as I sat outside on my deck getting sun- no humidity, no mosquitoes, working on my laptop, I commented to Brett about how we have had a GOOD YEAR for spring.  He agreed.

The next day we got summer.  NO JOKE.  It turned muggy, mosquitoes are now following me at the door waiting to get me, and it is only in the 80′s so it’s gonna get even more fun as the 90′s come!!

:)  Oh well….I will shut up my window’s, crank up the AC, and make plans for pool time.

My kids are fine with the weather change.  When the temps hit 80, they busted out that sprinkler faster than a mosquito can bite my face. And that’s fast.  (Those things love me.)

My happy Riah boy!!!

Priya and her girlfriends lounging. :)

What’s the weather like where you are?

Whatever it is, hope you find a way to enjoy it. :)

I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any points or suggestions? Thanks

cialis purchase - I and my pals appeared to be digesting the nice things located on your site and then before long came up with a horrible feeling I had not thanked the website owner for those tips. Those men became for that reason very interested to read them and have now quite simply been loving those things. Thank you for turning out to be quite helpful and for choosing this form of tremendous useful guides millions of individuals are really needing to be aware of. Our honest apologies for not saying thanks to you sooner.

insurance car - The subsequent time I learn a weblog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I do know it was my option to read, but I actually thought youd have one thing fascinating to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could possibly fix in the event you werent too busy looking for attention.

March 30, 2015 - 12:30 pm

levitra - I actually wanted to send a quick note so as to thank you for some of the awesome tips and hints you are writing on this website. My particularly long internet lookup has now been paid with excellent insight to talk about with my great friends. I ‘d mention that most of us readers actually are very much blessed to be in a decent place with very many outstanding people with good pointers. I feel very much grateful to have seen the webpages and look forward to some more excellent moments reading here. Thanks once more for all the details.

kristi + dan {in love}

There are few things as wonderful as being able to marry your best friend….If you have, you know what I mean.  I couldn’t help but think about this when I met these two.

Meet Kristi and Dan.

Hanging out with these two was so fun and laid back.  I found that they fit together perfectly, and (although they may not think so) when they looked at each other, they kinda forgot about the camera.  Some things we loved: how Dan always fixed hair that fell in Kristi’s face, and how he lovingly refers to her as “Russ” (her last name is Russell)…..The way Kristi so tenderly looks at Dan, laughs at him, and with him…….

Did I mention these two are just awesome? :)

Beautiful couple.

Love this shot.

We shot around Xavier University’s campus, which is where they met.

These next two may be my favorite from the session.  Do you see the sweetness of their love, or is it just me??

Ummmm, love this one too. :)

Brett’s X shot! :)

We happened to find this little “field.”  So glad we did!!

As we were walking down the hill Kristi decided to jump on Dan’s back….I quickly grabbed my camera and took this. :)

So Brett decided to hang out on this wall to take some shots, but the drop off was a good 20 ft down.  With my fear of heights, I was near hyperventilating by the time he finished his shot.

We ended our session at Graeter’s.  Brett decided to order a HUGE banana split (even though I said I wasn’t hungry).

Kristi decided to take a photo of us being big dorks…something we excel at greatly. :)

Kristi and Dan!  We loved hanging with you guys, and we look forward to seeing you this weekend at Erica and Jacob’s wedding too. :)

Can’t wait for your big day this AUGUST!!!!  Kristi you will be such a BEAUTIFUL bride!

much love guys,

jess and brett

kristi + dan {are married!!} » studio3z photography - [...] love Dan and Kristi!!!  You may remember them from their engagement session at Xavier University, which is where they met.  Kristi found us over a year ago, and has since [...]

{a lesson in} how to make your uncle tired.

We were hanging out with my lil’ brother the other day.

The boys were bugging him to go on a “benture,”  (what they have called an “adventure”-FOREVER, and I love it.)

I asked Adin to stand by Uncle Billy for some shots and he was hiding…acting quiet and shy.  Then he stood there, and made a smirk at me as seen in the first photo.  Out of no where….he just plain WENT NUTS!

Not many things make me laugh as much as when Adin gets in this mood.

Go ON boy and git down!

Then Riah decided photos were not so bad, and came out of hiding.  Please excuse his unbuttoned pants.  Button broke right before we left, and I decided to be ghetto mom for the day and just told him to deal.  (Cruel, I know.)

This was just the beginning of the madness….

After about 10 more minutes of this, and Priya joining in too, Uncle was D-O-N-E.

family of four.

Can I just say how happy I am to see the sun shining again??  I know, spring has been in full swing for some time now, but I think I am still shaking my post winter blues.  I am SOOO happy for the pretty days we have been getting.

Meet this cute family of four!  Mom is Kara, Dad is Ryan, and then we have Conner and Preston. :)  We had an absolutely beautiful evening!

I’ll give you one guess as to who takes center stage in this family?  That would be 3 yr. old Preston!

These guys are such cuties.

What a doll!!

We had fun watching the boys play….

Tickle fest!

And then JUMP!

A moment for just Mom and Dad.  (It lasted about 3.2 seconds…)

This photo is actually upside down from how I shot it.  I said, “Preston!” and he looked back at me.

:)Mr. Silly in action.  (These kind of shots are always my favorite.)

Just Dad and his boys.

LOVE this shot.

Mom and her boys!

Kara and Ryan, thank you for coming out to do a session with us! :)  We enjoyed running around and hanging out with you all!
