If you have landed here...bless your soul.  Welcome to our little tiny corner of the cyber world, based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Below you will see favorites from our sessions we do professionally, and also loads of personal nonsense that we hope at least will entertain you.  If nothing less, you can keep up on our adorable children.  Really, they are worth the trip back here time and time again in and of itself.

My name is Jess.  My hubby is Brett.  We are crazy about each other, our 4 babies, and our art.  Welcome to our world.

flower power. {our sunny babies}

When we went out a couple weeks ago to do a session with Brett’s brother’s family, we brought our own kiddos along.  We had no intention of taking any photos of our kidlings, but while we stood around waiting for them (and in the in-between moments), we snagged a couple heart melters of our beloved babies.

Gabe was very fascinated by the tall flowers.

“OH!!” a bird flew by.

Meanwhile Brett was off taking these….I love them.

Gabe has to smell every flower he sees.

He was having such a good time, he started dancing a little jig.

I did a whole post about this photo a couple weeks ago.  You can see it HERE.

Riah and Adin…so precious.

Can I just say, I am in LOVE with my three boys, and this photo.

I love Riah’s hand is over Adin’s hand, which is over Gabe’s heart. :)

Riah works out his inner model.

Actually they were all mad and hungry at this point…

And someone was getting sleepy.  Gabe sucks his fingers and holds his ear when he is tired.

(This is going in his room.)

My sunny boy.

Ok!  It was time to leave.  The poor kid is laying down in the field!! :)

Nanny/Beth/Mama - B E A U T I F U L!! CHERISH every SECOND…. You will turn around twice and they will ALL be GONE

angie + bryan {in love}

Angie is an old friend of Brett’s, and their families have been intertwined for many years.  I was good friends with Angie’s younger brother, and we all went to a tiny private Christian School here in Cincy.  Since we started our photography business, Angie has not only been a huge fan, but a fantastic supporter- sending anyone she can tell our way.  We thought it was her time in front of the camera….we had done a session of their kids over a year ago, but she has been avoiding the camera at ALLL costs.  In fact, if I didn’t keep her to this, I think she would have found a way to weasel out. ;)But they haven’t had photos of the two of them EVER that they are happy with, so I wanted to make that happen.

Angie had been saying for weeks, “I just don’t think I can look like those couples you shoot!”  I just kept telling her she would do fine.  We went out and had a great dinner (and drinks), and then headed out to get some great shots of her with her amazing hubby.

Bryan was not nervous at all…in fact I think he could have done a solo shoot. :)

So many funny things were said during this shoot. I think they were asking, “What do we do next?” And Brett responded, “Make a baby.”

We decided to just push her limit to get her comfortable, so we said “Hop up on his back.”  Angie said, “Seriously?”

Beautiful couple.

We laughed A LOT on this shoot!

Too cool, for school.

Love this one.

My favorite. LOVE this shot.

We played a little, “1-2-3 do whatever you want.”  I can’t tell you what they BOTH did on the count of three, but we all were dying laughing. :)

We visited the place where Bryan first proposed.  I love the city lights.

Pretty, pretty.

Couple actions shots I took of Brett.  His stance was making me laugh…then I figured out he was holding back the ivy. :)

He finished and I snagged his beautiful smile…*love* that crazy boy.

my hired monkey….

Angie, you can calm down now.  It’s all over. :)  We had such a great night with you guys- more like running around and playing like little kids.  Now, we can look forward to your family session this fall!! :)  Much love to you and Bryan!  (Bryan, you’re a trooper!)

love, Brett and Jess

the z family. {we love them}

Chad, Konul, Leyla, and Zazi….some of our most favorite people in the world.   Chad is Brett’s brother.  Konul is our beautiful sister-in-law.  They have two of the most beautiful children in the universe (yes, I took it there).  For his wife Konul’s birthday, we went out and did a “mini-shoot” of them.  Although they would say they are more “city” urban type people, they went along with my idea of doing this sunflower field I had my eye on by their house.  We worked quickly, and within a 12 ft. radius but, we got the job done.  I ended up with so many photos, I couldn’t decide which ones to post!

This session was kind of a big deal for Chad, because he hates having his picture taken and he is known for not smiling in them.  So thanks for going along with it Chad.

Priya was doing some crazy dance behind me to get this shot. :)

I love how they are each talking to the kids.

Chad and my handsome nephew Zazi.

Leyla kissing her Mama. :)

LOVE this!!

LOVE this too!!!

Leyla went walking in the sunflowers…she was so cute.

Of course Zazi had to follow, and he tried to smell the sunflowers. :)

They are rarely together for more that .0002 seconds…so I snagged this quickly before Zazi shoved her off.

Precious Zazi.  I love this photo…

I had to blow it up a bit so you could see closer.

Cutie pie.

Hugging on Mama.

This child melts my heart.

One of my favorites.

Konul, you are such a beautiful Mama.

Chad, you will never change.

(he’s famous for telling secrets.)

I love this photo.  Such a sweet little intimate moment.

love this one too. :)

Happy birthday again Konul!  I’m glad we could get these for you.  Next up, we’ll do the city shots. :)

Love you guys!!
