nicole {a studio3z senior}

Nicole is an adorable girl I had the pleasure of photographing for her High School Senior portraits.  She is bubbly, sweet,  and full of life.  Being an actress and singer she was extremely easy to photograph since she is used to being in the spotlight.  We met up at an outdoor amphitheater and she began by taking the stage.  I can’t imagine having the poise and confidence that she has when I was in High School! :)

I love that she brought some of the pieces she is currently working on.

My favorite color fall tree looked just perfect beside her.

Nicole, you are stunning my dear.

“Embrace the moss Nicole.” ;)  My favorite.

Adorable, with a capitol “A.”

We played around “my house” which is a home for sale that I have been drooling over for months.

Girl can work it…

Thanks Nicole for choosing us!  You were such a pleasure to work with.  I wish you all the best in your future, and all that you do. :)

P.S. I am announcing the winner on the post before in a moment.  I will add it to that post. :)

breanna {studio3z senior}

Brett and I went out on a beautiful fall day to meet Breanna for her Senior photos .  She was a little nervous at first, but it seemed to fade away pretty fast. :)  Having her Mom and sister there was wonderful.  Breanna is a a sweetie, and we had such a great time!  She has such an eccentric style that I just adore.  She was also up for anything, and was willing to play along with any crazy idea we had. ;)

She has such AMAZING magic eyes….they changed color with each of her outfits.

The lighting in these were just unreal…combined with the fall colors, I was in heaven.

Jaqueline (alemphoto - So cute! i love the light and the place that you choose! beautiful! congratulations!

just dance!

When I received an email from one of my past Senior’s Mama about taking photos of the dance team she worked with, I have to say I was at first a bit reluctant.  Working with my Senior girls is one thing- we run around for 2 hrs. having a blast, and it is just so laid back and fun-and one person.  This was a High School girl dance team consisting of 25 GIRLS!!! *gulp* Yeah, not sure about that.  But Kathy told me how she wanted something unique, something different for these girls to look back on rather than the “normal” dance team shots.  I’m always up for what I would view as a “good challenge” so I accepted.

Can I just say THANK YOU Kathy?!  Totally blew my expectations out of the water!  These girls ROCKED, and as I told Kathy in an email afterwords, I know I would fall madly in love with them if I got to spend any more time with them!  They were a delight to work with.

Now I am happy to present: The Mason High School Dance team!!!

This first shot I was just testing the light while they showed me a dance….wish I would have taken more of them dancing.

Aren’t they just adorable!?!

We just had to do it up studio3z style. :)  And trust me, they had NO TROUBLE showing me what they’ve got!

Our sky was UNREAL that day.

The GORGEOUS coaches!!!  Emily on the left, and Kathy on the right who is the Mama of one of my favorite people I have EVER photographed- Mary:)

The silly shot…..You always have to have one.

We never have people to take photos of the 2 of us in action but happened to for this shoot (2 wks. ago), and the one in Cali this past weekend. A major “DUH” to me about wearing the same outfit??!  What a dork-ball.  Next time I bring someone along to take photos of us in action I’ll be sure to wear this sweater again.

Speaking of that someone, my friend Meagan (and also former Senior) came along to shoot, take photos of us, and best of all make a coffee run for us!!;)  Thanks Meagan!

Thanks to ALLLLL you girlies!!  You were so great to work with.

Ok, I’m off to go dance myself. ;)

emily. {a studio3z senior}

Meet Emily!

She’s fun, sweet, smart, adorable, and maybe a pinch of sassy too. :)

We had such a beautiful night to work with!  Thank you 70 degree days in JULY!!! :)

Her smile is GRAND.  Talk about lighting up a room….I think it could light up a city!

Madly in love with this scene overlooking the Ohio river.

Sometimes I would ask Emily to be serious….

Sometimes it wouldn’t work!

(Her boyfriend was a fantastic comedian!  I may need to hire him to be my assistant.)

Emily’s Mom was in love with this mini-patch of sunflowers we found…This one’s for YOU Mama!! :)

This tree was beyond awesome….

And Emily + the tree = PERFECT.

How adorable!!

Then she got all rock star…

(This is where her sassy side came out.  haaaa!)

Told ya!

But she’s too darn sweet to be sassy very long.

We both agreed we loved this door.

I loved that she brought her Bible along.

And I loved her picture idea!  She loves taking pictures, and wanted to incorporate them into the session somehow.

Isn’t she a cutie!?!

THANKS Emily for choosing me to do your Senior photos!!  I wish you all the best in your last year of High School (YAY!!!), and I know you will succeed at whatever path you should choose.

All the best to you girlie! ;)
